Bellsouth email not updating

Got BellSouth email working great yesterday, set to update every 15 min. Well, last time it updated was last night at 10:16pm. Was able to send an email, but still did not update. Finally deleted account and then re-entered again, finally updated, but obviously don't wish to do this just to get it to update. Any ideas?
