How to import Gmail contacts with separate first and last names

I have more than 2000 contacts in my Gmail address book (CSV format) that I would like to import into Address Book. Gmail has a single field for name that combines first and last name, so when I import them into Address Book, the First Name field ends up with the first and last name in it.

I guess I need to edit CSV file (It seems to be Excel compatible) so that the singe name field becomes two fields. And then import it to Address Book...

Does anyone have any good ideas on this?

Thank you very much in advance... Hand editing 2000 entries is definitely not on the cards...
