recommendations for online battery purchase please?

Question

recommendations for online battery purchase please?

has anybody had any good/bad experiences with buying some random brand powerbook battery online? what about those on ebay? i see some that are about 60 including shipping, but im a little skeptical. i dont see any brand names on them and therefore dont know exactly what im getting. anyways, if you have any recommendations of brands and websites please share. any info is greatly appreciated! thanks

I bought last 3 weeks ago from ebay. Seller id is laptopower and the battery came from China. It took about 2 weeks to delivery but worth the wait. Now I get about 5 hours from my new battery. I got it for $40.00 with $16.00 shipping. The battery is sold with title "A1012 M8244G M8511 Battery for APPLE PowerBook G4 15". Good luck!!!

I got a battery from Newer Technology, through a seller in the UK. NewerTech's website has a list of suppliers in the States or (I think) you can buy direct. They go for $130-140. Mine works fine and the battery life is much better than the original battery was (about 5 hours as opposed to a little over 3).

Hi, I'm at work typing this at the moment so don't have the battery specs or company info to hand but I think I bought mine from Amazon through another online seller. The battery is great and works much better than the original did - I've had no problems with it.

I did buy my original Airport card from eBay which again works really well but was put off eBay for the battery as I'd heard there were lots of different types of batteries and some don't give as much charge as others.

About recommendations for Tibook G4 batteries, I bought mine about two yrs ago on amazon...great seller(arrived quickly).
