Unfortunately the latest version of LCC (2.3.1) doesn't come with an uninstaller, and older versions aren't archived on their web site - any idea how to manually uninstall LCC?
I had the same problem. The .zip file does not include a disk image and there is only an installer in it. Fortunately, I found my old disk image v 211 (I keep all my old disk images for this reason) and used that, which seemed to work well.
To check the uninstall, I opened the new LCC installer and did command-I to open a window showing which files are installed and where, and made sure those folders and files were removed:
/Library/Application Enhancers
/Library/Application Support/Logitech
/Library/PreferencesPanes/Logitech Control Center.prefpane
In addition I made sure the Leopard-offending Application Enhancer files were gone:
/Library/PreferencePanes/Application\ Enhancer.prefpane
/Library/Frameworks/ApplicationEnhancer.framework
/System/Library/SystemConfiguration/ApplicationEnhancer.bundle
/Library/Preferences/com.unsanity.ape.plist
I'm not saying this is a 100% recipe but it has seemed to work for me.
Logitech puts an uninstaller for version 2.4.0 of the Logitech Control Center in /Applications/Utilities - named LCC Uninstaller.app, if I recall correctly. (It's not there anymore, since I ran it... 🙂.)
