Can't create gapless CD

I can't create a CD with zero gaps between songs. Here is what I have done. I import a couple of CDs, select the songs I want and create a playlist. Then, using the playlist:
1. Edit>Preferences>Advanced>Gap between songs is set to None.
2. Select the whole playlist, choose File>Get Info>Options>Set gapless album to Yes
3. Select one song at a time in the playlist, choose File>Get Info>Options and shorten the stop time by the number of seconds taken up by the pause.

When I play back this modified playlist in iTunes, it works exactly as I want.
However, when I burn it on to a CD, the gap between songs is still there.

Any suggestions will be appreciated. Thanks.

In addition to what you're already doing (labelling the tracks as "gapless"), also go the Advanced section in "Preferences." Once you're there, select "Burning" and then look for the drop-down menu that allows you to set the gap amount when burning a CD. Try clicking on "None." Hope this helps!
