Airport Utility won't open in Windows XP Pro after installation

Hi

I just bought Airport Express - AirTunes. I've installed enclosed software and updated with latest firmware by Apple Software Update. I've still problem to open Airport Utility. When I try to open the program I got a explorer failure.

The failure signatur is:
AppName: aputil.exe AppVer: 5.2.1.8 ModName: kernel32.dll
ModVer: 5.1.2600.3119 Offset: 00012a5b

I've tried to resolve the problem by looking for solutions on Apple.com, Microsoft.com and Google.com but still no solutions. Please help.

Hi, I have the same problem and called the Apple support hotline. I gave them detailed descriptions of the problem. They told me my Windows installation was screwed and I should reinstall Windows. Makes you wonder why the support hotline isn't aware of the problem ...
The recommended older version seems to work fine. Hope it will communicate with my airport express station ...
