RAM

Hi, I am using a iMac Intel G5 and I have ordered a 1GB card of ram and am upgrading from 512MB of ram. I am doing this because I pre-ordered leopard and when I get it I want it to be really speedy. Will there be a large noticeable difference between speeds from 1GB and 512MB?

I read somewhere recently that 2gb of RAM on most consumer computers provides the best experience for the lowest cost. I just hope that remains true or is bettered when Leopard arrives.

Apple say Leopard will run on 512mb (which is much more generous than Vista offers) but you are undoubtedly wise to have decided to double that.
