Europe Power Adapter

I'm taking a trip to Scotland from the US and will be bringing my laptop. I've purchased a plug in converter so I am able to plug my Mac in to the wall. Is there anything else that I need to worry about as far as power and potential damage to my computer?

I'm glad I read this before I left for Germany tomorrow. I thought I had everything covered. I guess not!!

Okay, I'm bringing 2 15" MBPs and 12" PB. Yes, there's more than me going.

I had bought a converter. But, in reading its directions and now this forum, I'm not going to use it for my precious Apple products.

I did buy an adapter plug to plug in between the voltage converter and the German outlets. It's universal enough that an American plug just plugs into the back of it. Does this mean I can plug my power adapters into this little $4 generic plug adapter and then plug that into a German outlet?

Does this mean I do NOT need to run to the Apple store in the morning to buy their universal power adapter box of plugs??

Please! Help! I know it's last minute but I thought I'd taken care of everything.

Thanks

Christopher
