Error 721 When connecting to VPN using an Airport Extreme

Ok here is a little background as I have had a few issues with this setup. I would like to set it up as a gateway on a network with a windows server that will handle the DNS and DHCP as well as RAS. There does not seem to be an option to turn off DHCP do I setup a scope of 192.168.57.1-192.168.57.2 with a lease time of 9999 days.

Now the main problem occurs when trying to dial into the server remotely. The VPN client returns an error 721. This error typically indicates that the client is talking to the server however it cannot authenticate properly. I have setup port mapping to the server for 1723 and 1701 however it will not connect. Typically enabling ipsec will fix this error however I do not see that option. When I "enable default host" and point it to the server it works however this is not acceptable as is a major security risk as well as limits the ability to forward additional ports to other servers. Am I missing something?

I just got off the phone with an Airport specialist. Apparently this is a known issue. There is no workaround for it as of yet and they are looking fixing it however there is no timeframe for a solution.

Is it just me or are there a ton of people that cannot use this otherwise wonderful base station because you cannot VPN into it.

Has anyone been able to successfully dial into a windows RAS connection that is behind and Airport Extreme? If so please leave details. Thank you!
