DVD

I have a DVD recorder that plugs into my tv. I have a comcast DVR and i can burn DVDs of my shows no problem but is there some way i can put the stuff from MY own DVDs onto my ipod touch?? without having to buy any software???

You might want to try MPEG Streamclip. It's a free application for Mac or PC and it should be able to rip contents from a DVD and export them as an iPod-compatible file.

One thing to note is that your burner must create VideoTS folders with .VOB files, as that is what MPEG Streamclip imports to do the conversion (I think some older set-top box DVD recorders didn't make the proper folders).
