magnetic flap laptop bag: safe?

Hi,

I was given a swanky Ping laptop bag with a magnetic flap cover. I really like the bag but am reluctant to put my iMac or iPod near any magnets. Is this a silly concern?

I've had iPods scrambled by a magnetic money clip in the past (switched back to wallet).

But are there risks to having magnets in the case?
