how to copy text and urls in safari?

how do I select, copy, and paste text and urls in safari on iPod touch?
I want to copy text to paste in search fields, and copy web addresses to paste in email.
I found one post that said this feature not available on iPod touch - Really? Really! (I would have linked to post here, but...)

iPod touch, Mac OS X (10.3.9)

The other post you saw was correct. Copy/paste functions are not supported on the iPodT.

Of course, there's always pen and paper... 🙂

well, that is dissapointing, they better include this feature in the next update!!
the simple devices got this feature how come this high tech one doesn't!!

I have just dloaded the new ipod touch software upgrade ans still no copy and paste... am i missing something????? where is it?

If you want to email a link to your current Safari page, tap the + at the bottom of the screen.
