CAUTION .... their cases are well made, but their customer service is not equal to the product.
I ordered from Vaja a month ago, and have yet to receive the case that was to take 10-15 days to make. Now it appears to be afloat in delivery limbo and I am having trouble even getting the couresy of an answer from Vaja.
Have you taken your phone out of the case yet? It scratched the sides of my phone, the silver bevele area, pretty bad. Be careful if you take it out to clean the screen (I had grime on mine under the plastic from my purse)
They make two cases that are very similar. I have the Contour Showcase for iPhone. The Contour iSee has had complaints like you mention. There is no rating ability for the Showcase. So I'm sure if it has complaints or not.
Mine is excellent, fits well, no lint, dust or absolutely no scratches. I have to remove it to use the dock but you can use just the plug. I'm very satisfied with the Showcase.
I went to the website for Otterbox and it has screen protection. I was wondering if the Contour Showcase has screen protection. I wasn't able to figure it out from the website.
Thanks!
Have you received this case? As it just starting shipping last week, don't promote a case if you haven't received yet. I got mine this past Monday and it is a POS! Cheaply made, crappy design, a clip that moves around with the slighest touch, a rubber outer cover that does not stay in place, a plastic membrane that creates an air pocket and is flimsy as ****, shall I go on?
You must work for OtterBox, otherwise why would you openly promote a sub-standard product?
As someone who has bought 5 cases to date, trust me when I say do NOT waste your $ on this case
Agreed Cinemagic, the only precautions I take are to put the phone in my pocket, facing my leg and to not put anything else in that pocket. There's a video where PC magazine dropped an iphone on carpet, linoleum and asphalt with very few problems. Other people have dropped theirs (including a friend of mine) once and shattered the glass. YMMV...
I use a case by Case-Mate that I got at the AT&T store. Works real well, flips down and looks similar to the one on the first post. No problems or scratches and it comes with a clip that works pretty well.
Yeah - I think they must be overloaded with the response. I just received my Vaja case last week after about a month on order. It truly is a superb case and very top-of-the-line. The leather work is unbelievable (no stitching showing anywhere). Worth the wait.
Unfortunately, I must agree. I finally got my otterbox case and was very disappointed to say the least. I had been trying so hard to be patient waiting for this case to come out and when I finally got it, it fell way short. The plastic case alone disappointed because of the material they used to cover the holes for the speaker and mic-the volume was muffled enough coming out of the speaker that I didn't hear the phone ringing if I had it clipped to my pocket. Also, the silicone case was too annoying to deal with because of how flimsy the sides were. The holster, although, very sturdy, had one major flaw: the phone was just too difficult to remove from holster-very awkward to take out. And when you managed to take it out of the holster, it would jack up the silicone jacket.
Unfortunately there were just TOO MANY negatives with the case to keep.
Oh, well, I guess I'll stick with my tried and true Revo case. Nothing else I've tried compares to it.
Absolutely agree. Like Revo so much I have almost all the different colors. I'm a female so it's important for everything to match!! =0)
The only thing I wish they'd improve upon is the dock cover. My only wish is that it wasn't a separate piece but attached to the rest of the case to avoid losing it.
Other than that it has proven to be the best case for me so far, especially now that there is a clip available for it.
