iPhoto crashes whenever I try to upload photos to Shutterfly.com

Does anyone else have this problem? iPhoto unexpectedly quits whenever I try to export photos to shutterfly.com. I've used shutterfly for years and this is just happening since I got iPhoto 8 and Mac OS 10.4.1. Shutterfly says it just started supporting 10.4 with a new plug-in but it's not working for me. Snapfish doesn't work either.
Is it just because of the new operating system???
