How to view registered products?

It's interesting there is no forum for support in general. My question is about the support website. I cannot seem to find a way to simply view - or view at all - items I have registered with Apple. I registered them using my Apple ID so I should be able to view this information.

MacBook Pro, Mac OS X (10.4.10)

login with your Apple Discussions or .Mac ID used to register your product.
Beneath the "AppleCare Agreements" title, you'll see a series of links to register specific prodcuts, and below that will be "Your Current Agreements."

If it isn't there, you may have registered under a different e-mail address and should call AppleCare to discuss which one it was registered under.

I believe the OP is asking about Product Registration, as in a list of all of Apple products one has registered after purchase. All hardware products and many software products request that users register them on first use. This is distinct from AppleCare products which require registration/enrollment before their first use.

This is correct. How do I view my registered items - and why is such a question so hard to answer?

It's easy to answer your question: We are unable to view our registered items on Apple's Support site.

We used to be able to track our registered products through the Support site, but that facility (with the exception of downloadable software items like QuickTime Pro keys) has been gone for a couple of years now.

Because of this, the best advice is to keep track of your own purchases in case that information is needed by law enforcement agencies (theft), insurance companies (loss) or the IRS (tax itemization) and to not submit this information to Apple, because once it has been submitted, you have little to no control over where it goes or how it is used.
