will time machine work with 2nd internal HD in macpro
all of the time machine descriptions keep mentioning using an external drive but will it work with a 2nd internal drive in my macpro? i have 4 hd's in my macpro and it would be nice to be able to use one of them for time machine.
Some other article outside apple official stated that as long as it is on differ partition or hard drive, internal, external (usb, firewire), or network attached storage HD, you can use it for Time Machine.
But on apple official only mention external and NAS, so you can give it a shot or wait until apple officially stated that posibility.
I was gonna ask the same question. I have 2 nice fast SATA HD's in my old 1.6 PPC G5.
Hopefully we can get an answer here soon!
Woo Hoo! this is my first "Buy it the day it launches" so wish me luck even getting it from FedEx (which always arrives while I am at work & has to some back the next day)

while doing this sort of 'backup' is convenient doesn't it only cover you if your main drive fails? It would make sense to have not only this TM setup but also one that moves data to another drive/machine not always powered up or in the same physical location as your main machine.
