Deutsches Handbuch/german manual für/for final cut express

Suche deutsches Handbuch für FCE. Komme nicht klar mit dem englischen.
Looking for german manual for FCE. I do not come clearly with the english one.

If you use the German language version of FCE the Hilfe menu connects to the Final Cut Express HD Benutzerhandbuch.

I use a german language version of FCE 2.0. Nothing happens, if I click the help button. Any ideas?

It's not a button, its the menu in the the FCE menu bar. If there is no manual in the Help menu the application has not be properly installed.

Thx, man.

I draged + droped FCE in the paper basket. I reinstalled FCE, checked the help menu and - it works!! The english manual is there!

Everything in the menu bar is shown in english, even the manual. "Help" is shown in german, as "Hilfe".

I found another thread about changing manual's language. So I tried, but while booting FCE, it shown up a windwow, that it have to be closed.

I switched back to the english manual and everything's fine.

(I guess it's a simple thing. I'm new on MacBook and I still think xp.)

Would you lead me one more time, to get the german manual on top?

Select the FCE application in the Applications folder and press Cmd-I for Get Info. In the language section you can select what languages appear.

Also try this with FCE closed.

Open System Preferences and click on "International".

Select the Languages tab, grab "Deutsch" and drag it to the top.

Close System Preferences and open FCE which should now be in German.

I tried both. I think it would work but - there's no german manual included. I checked the resources folder. There is a german one, with read me and stuff like this but - no manual.

One minute ago I downloaded FCE 2.0.3. Now the menau bar is totaly shown in german but - no help anymore. I can click it, but no response.

So I try to change settings to get the manual back...

Ok.

I select programs/FCE/informations/languages. german, french, english, japanese are signed. I unsigned each, except english. Now the manual is back.

Puh, hard work...

I tried it out before I wrote my suggestion.

I left all the languages selected in FCE and simply changed the System Preferences and everything turned to German including the Manual.

I have now put it back to English.

However, there is one strange phenonenon. In the Easy Setup, I now have BOTH English and German!

I can't get rid of the German!

Although I didn't mention it in my last post I also tried it with French and Suomi but that latter one didn't work.

The end result is that I am now stuck with both German AND French alternatives to the English Easy Setups.

Anyway it gives me a change from counting the blades of grass on my lawn whilst waiting for my medication.

Is still in english. As I see, there's no german manual included in FCE 2.0.3.

I checked it again and again and again. There is no german, or french, or xy manual included. Just the english one. I tried to download one @ apple or get one somewhere in the internet, but I've failed.

So, the only thing I could do, is upgrading to 3.0 HD.
