How smooth is your stack?

It stutters a little bit on my mac as well (new imac) - I guess it queries core animation which queries the video card... anyway, try something really cool if you want to see how the animation is done: Shift-Click on the stack. Now Shift-Click another one while the first one is open - the animation is stunning!

my Application stack seems to grid just fine... although, when using fan mode, it doesn't show all the apps

My Apps folder "grids" open a bit slow, but I have alot in there, perhaps 50 different apps. It is a slight pause as well for me.

Mines a tiny tiny tiny bit slow, but only if you where looking out for it, so I'm glad it's not noticeable.

Not smooth with big folders on grid, worse on my brand new iMac (see sig) than my Powerbook, go figure ...
