10.5 Front Row - No Art for Remote Source

Connecting to remote Mac with Front Row, both running 10.5. No music or movie art displays when browsing or playing.

Any suggestions?

Looking at this and other forums here at Apple.com and elsewhere it appears to me that the missing album art is a bug in Front row 2.0, i.e. beyond user control. I have posted feedback to Apple through the OSX feedback option here at apple.com, and it could be useful if others do the same. Has anyone spoken to Apple on this?

Still, it would be interesting to hear if there is anyone out there who is able to view album art from a remote host under Leopard.

I am using a 1.83 Mac Mini with 4 500Gb hard drives to hold my 600+ movies that I have been converting with HandBrake. I put the aliases into the Movie folder on my mini with 1.3.1 and it worked great. With 2.0 the movies do not preview and the artwork does not show up. I put a movie into iTunes library and was able to add artwork and type a synopsis for the movie and it looked great. But how can I put everything I have (nearly 2 terabytes) into the iTunes library just so I can see the fancy stuff? Is there a way to span it across multiple disks? I just hope they fix it so that it will show this stuff without it having to be in iTunes.

Add my voice too to this problem with Front Row 2.0. I have been able to view cover art in iTunes on my Mac Mini that connects remotely to my iMac. I have all the latest updates of OS (including the new update that came today on Leopard) and iTunes. I have iLife 6 and not '08.
Incidentally I also had trouble viewing cover art on the local tracks on my Mac Mini too but after I checked "Automatically download missing album artwork" I was able to view the cover art of the local files in Front Row. I have tried the same on my iMac to see if that helped with viewing the cover art from the remote source but it didn't help.

Well, i tried to circumvent the whole remote outsourcing issue by making an iTunes music library alias from my source computer (iMac) to the media hub (Mac mini). The Mac mini's iTunes recognizes the library switch and runs fine with the same library that's on my iMac. I can even use CoverFlow fullscreen (this interface may be the best option for my birthday party Friday, assuming Apple doesn't release an update between now and then).

Anyways, with my Mac mini running my iMac's library "locally", I tried to run Front Row and see if it recognized it. Although iTunes clearly recognizes the library alias, Front Row does not and thinks there are no songs in the iTunes library.

This begs the question: What is Front Row using to compile its library information?

BTW, I installed the new iTunes update release today (v7.5) and there's been no change in Front Row's album art behavior, at least not for me.
