Finder CRASHES when trying to eject a volume

Same issue here. Can't eject dmg images and finder quits when attempting.

I initially was able to eject dmgs after the postinstall reboot but then at some point I couldn't any longer. Finder didn't crash.

Restarted and working ok now.

Same problem here. If I eject my external hard drives it crashes the finder window every time!

Seems to only happen with hard drives...not having any issues ejecting installers.

I just installed 10.5. I can't eject .dmg installers with Finder or by dragging to the Trash can. I've only been successful by going into Disk Utility and ejecting from there.

spoke to soon. ejecting the odd installer will cause the finder window to disappear / crash as well!

I'm having this problem on a regular basis due to having a few external hard disks, I hope Apple fixes this bug asap. I've already lost files as they have been corrupted.

For me this doesn't only take Finder offline, any app I'm using follows suit and crashes too.

Same thing happened here. I did a forced reboot in Finder and then I tried to eject the DMG again. This time it was ejected normally.

I have the same but it happens only when I eject the first or second time. I'll eject a USB/firewire/HD and the finder disappears. I'll re-launch and it might eject fine for the rest of day. Only seems to happen when I first boot. For me, it doesn't matter - HD/USB or firewire drives will do the same.
