Make a Windows PC a Registered user

I am not sure what you are wanting to do? Are you wanting to create a new user account on MacOS X or trying to connect to the Mac from a PC, or something else?

If you are connecting to a PC from the Mac, then either try connecting from the Finder with the Go -> Connect to server menu item specifying smb://<user>@server/ , for example smb://ajmas@mypc/ or a Finder window click on the PC share and then at the right of the window click on 'connect as'.

To connect to the Mac from the PC, you will need to go to the 'sharing' system preferences, activate 'file sharing' and then click on the 'options...' button. The click 'share files using SMB' and then check the users that you wish to allow to access the Mac.
