Popup Error - Won't Go Away

Never heard of it. You did an upgrade install? Must have been something you installed in Tiger which is incompatible with Leopard.

I have an old Nortons antivirus failed message. Long ago removed program but popup at startup will not go away?

I am having the same issue. Popup printing, I believe, involves printing over a network. For example, at school, I can print from my Mac to any access printer on the school's network through popup printing. It's a great feature, but isn't working because I'm getting this message error as well. I am making a list of all the problems I've had with Leopard since installing. I should be studying but instead I'm having to fix my Mac. Never thought I'd say that. Please, if anyone can help, I need my printer back.

Ok found the issue on another thread. Apparently, you downloaded some pharos software for popup printing and it was not compatible with Leopard (go figure). IF you go to the following location on your hard drive, then you should find the uninstaller and be able to uninstall the software that is causing this error message:

/Library/Application Support/Pharos/Utilities

I just ran the uninstaller myself and this worked. Thanks for the info!!

Hey would you mind posting this other thread? I have the same problem but there are no Pharos apps on my computer. (The only thing that Spotlight yielded was support docs for Civ IV :))
