Base Station not recognized

After upgrade to Leopard, internet connect OK, wireless connect using Extreme Airport is OK, but when I run Airport Utility, it scans and finds no base station. Rescan same result.

As i said connections are ok, thank goodness, but if I needed access to router I'm SOL.

Any ideas?

Yo...I may can help. I have an Airport Extreme 802.11n, an Airport Express, and an Airport Extreme 802.11g–all on the same Nework. The 11n is the Primary Base Station, the Express is a relay and the 11g is a remote.
Simple. I reset all the units and instead of launching a configuration file, I entered the settings via Airport Utility. It found that I needed a firmware update on one of the units. Also, some of the setting options are different. I had to make a couple of corrections and I opted to make some minor changes. Vola! All is well and they (all 3) now pop up on the Airport Utility scan. This made me, again, happy that I dumped the Linksys units. They only lasted about a year and they do not support Apple.

Has anyone else managed to overcome this problem? I have a airport base station (snow) and I can connect to the net through it just fine, but the Airport Utility fails to find it (thus I can not access any of the administration options). The old Airport Admin Utility on my other powerbook (with 10.4) allows me to administer it as normal. It appears to have the latest firmware and many resets and restarts have failed to resolve the issue.
Any other suggestions?

I've intermittently had the same problem. I have an Airport Extreme (11g) base station and an Airport Express in WDS mode. The Express shows up in the Airport utility program, but sometimes the AEB doesn't, even when I'm outside the range of the AX and sitting right next to the AEB. Very strange. Both have the latest firmware. I'm still able to get an internet connection from the AEB even though it's MIA on the scan by the setup program.

This seems to be a problem with my intel machine. Using the MBP, I can screen share with my Mac Mini (non intel) in another part of the house and run the Airport Utility remotely, and my AEB is there along with the AX.

If I reboot the AEB it shows up on my MBP.

Never happened until I installed Leopard....
