Blue screen when push "Lock Screen" cmd via ARD

Interesting problem..

In a lab of 30 Intel Macs (Mac OS X 10.4.10), when the teacher pushes the command to "Lock Screen" to the class, the machines all freeze up and display a blue screen. (Much like the ever so popular Windows BSOD!) From that point you lose control and the computer is completely frozen up, then requiring a restart.

However, if the teacher pushes the "Lock" command individually one computer at a time it works fine. And after the command has successfully worked on a one-by-one basis, you can then push the Lock or unlock command to all 30 and it will work. So the glitch appears only to happen after the computer initially boots, and you try a large group.

Any suggestions on how to fix this glitch. It is a real hassle to remotely lock the machines one at a time every morning.

Do the system auto login?
At what screen are they being locked at, login or Desktop?
If the machines are turned off every night, has the cron setting been changed so they run daily?
Is the AdminTeacher system on 10.4.10 Intel as well?

I'm suggest you may want to try a re-install of ARD Admin sw. I can control and lock Intel iMac, laptops and Pro system without problems.

I also have the same problem. I run a Lab with 39 eMacs on 10.4.10. Using the lock command, from an intel mac running 10.5.1, will work on all but a few. I am able to control them remotely and look at the screen with no problems, but locally the computers look frozen on the blue screen. I've tried running permission repairs, re-installing the admin ARD software with no luck. Hope someone can help!
