DELETING "OTHER" FROM IPOD NANO

Hi guys, need some help here... my son plugged in the ipod whilst windows media was on... i had previously been syncing a mp3 player... and it synced all the music from windows media to his ipod. now it has taken up all the space 1.1g and does not play as music files. it has gone into the "other" files. can someone help and let me know if there is a way to delete these without restoring the ipod and losing the music currently on there? THANKS!!!

Compaq Presario, Windows XP

If the iPod is enabled for disk use, you can look at the folders on the iPod through Explorer and delete anything you don't want.

See: iPod Disk Use.

Otherwise, see how to restore the iPod to factory settings which will erase the iPods contents and reclaim the used space.

Then reload the music from iTunes.
