iPod Classic Cover Flow bug fixed..

Do you have Cover Art appearing after your library, beyond xyz/123, i.e. At the end of the alphabet? I had about 20 albums which appeared out of sync on my iPod Classic 160gb, despite that fact that each album/artist was correctly indexed and appeared in perfect order both in the artist/album view on the iPod and in Cover flow view/artist list in iTunes. I have finally discovered the bug. For each album that appears after xyz/123 locate the album in iTunes. Select the first track. Right click > Get Info > Info. Now notice the bottom right ‘Part of a Compilation’ has been selected. Untick this. Repeat for each track in the affected album. Re-sync your iPod. Now the album will appear in the correct order in the iPod Cover Flow view. I tried repeatedly to warn Apple of this and several other ‘Classic’ bugs, but I’ve clearly been black listed for complaining too much about losing my CURRENT iPod games when I UPGRADED to the NEW iPod.. Shame on me. I hope this fix was helpful.
