I have same problem when I try to export the movie for using with idvd.
The code error is -2125 and I've not find informations about it.
Do you have same informations.
Thank you
the duration is about 2,58 hours. With imovie 6 I've not problem. Sorry but what is workflow? is the video import from my camera? If yes is setting on 1920x1080.
Thank you
Error -2125 is an fileOffsetTooBigErr error and in your case I suspect it is because the file is simply too large. By workflow I was asking for details of the video you were working on and what settings you had applied during your processing of it. I wasn't sure if you had hit some sort of general file size limit or whether it was restricted to the media browser and was hoping to get some sort of idea how big the file you were exporting might have been.
I can't really tell from the info you have given me but clearly the length of the video you are making is too long for iDVD and suspect this is why you got the error.
Is there anything we can do to make it work? Can I split the project up over several projects and share them with a media browser, then unite them again in iDVD?
It's ridiculous that you can't make a movie longer than 2 hours. Not all movies are meant for dvd and many DVDs now can hold more than 2 hours of footage depending on compression. This is definitely a bug that needs fixed.
I agree, this is completely bogus. iMovie should not stop someone from creating a movie that is over 2 hrs, because yes it can be placed on a DVD, online, or anywhere else.
Also, something to keep in mind, Visual hub allows you to put up to 12 hours of video on one DVD, yes its compressed, but still, iMovie should be able to do this same thing, just inform the user.
I am also receiving error 2125, but my movie length is only 43 minutes. I have tried it 4 or 5 times with different movies all of them over 30 min but well under 2 hours.
I use quicktime to export the file as an mp4: 1280 X 720 HD, 59.94 FR, 20 000 kbs/sec, h .264, optimized for dvd, Keyframe Automatic.
It takes hours to render and at the very end it gives me the message that its unable!
The movies I use for the project are also h.264 1280 X 720, with a 60 FR. (Sanyo Xacti 1000)
Any help is MUCH appreciated...
