How many GB per minute?

I'm going on a trip and will be shooting HD video (Canon HV20), then transferring the video to my MBP for editing in iMovie 8. If I shoot an hour of video, how many GB will that take up on my laptop when I transfer it over? And when I edit it together in iMovie, how many GB per minute or hour will that be?

Well this is quite tedious to tell you about the Space that an IPOD movie will take but i think that is more dependent on how much you shoot. I actually dont ever try this before, but it will be dependent on the size of Your Video.

I understand it's dependent on how much I shoot. That's why I'm asking if there's a conversion to GB by time. i.e, how many GB does one minute of HD take up?
