Q: Permissions Repair Error: ARDAgent.app

I get this warning when I try to repair permissions.

Warning: SUID file "System/Library/CoreServices/RemoteManagement/ARDAgent.app/Contents/MacOS/ARDAg ent" has been modified and will not be repaired.

Any ideas as to why?

Hi Charly, the warning from iMovie pops up when I try to open a new project as well as on existing movie files.

Address Book says that I've ('Me') got Read & Write privileges and lists 'system' and 'admin' as also having Read & Write privileges. I was under the impression that I was the administrator???

    Thanks anyway.

As they say in those spook movies, "I have reasons to believe" that 'Me' has administrator's privileges. If you have created an additional user (I have, I call it 'Test User'), I suggest that you log into it and try to launch those recalcitrant applications, see what happens. If you can launch those applications, then something (what?) is wrong with your current system.
