Guest Account not working - can it be reset?
Hi,
I did an Archive and Install, and my Tiger OS had only the one Account (mine). Now in Leopard I can see the Guest Account and I have enabled it. When I reach the log-in screen after initial boot, I see two accounts - my one and the built in guest account. I can log in to my account, without any problems. However, if I click on the Guest account, the login box just shakes. I tried this several times, and then I finally logged in under my account I noticed the CPU at 100%. Investigation showed that Directory Services was running at 100%. I mention this as it might be related.
Is there any way to reset the Guest account so that I can log in using it?
