Exchange in Mail 3.0

Did clean install of leopard. tried to setup exchange. exchange setup with no errors when hitting get mail. I can send mail but not receive. apple care support is no help. any ideas?

Macbook Pro 15", Mac OS X (10.5)

My company recently switched e-mail servers to Exchange 2007, and I'm getting very poor performance. Does anyone have any tips on how to improve the Mail - Exchange experience?

I finally set up my Exchange account in Mail.app as an IMAP account (instead of "Exchange") and it seems to work better...

I have the same problem. After several years of using Mail.app with our exchange server, it suddenly stopped retrieving mail from the server, though I can send. In the Connection Doctor window, it says that login the Exchange Server was successful, yet it also says "could not connect to this Exchange server."

I tried setting up an IMAP account with the same settings, without success. Of course, our network IT guy says nothing is changed at his end...

Help?

Here's the fix: I asked the network administrator to reboot the Exchange server, and now all is well. It seems it was a problem at his end, after all. 🙂
