space used on my ipod by other

🙂 due to several problems with my ipod i was forced to restore it and format it several times. each time there was a few mb shown as used by other. but now there is 113 mb used by other?? and i don't have any other stuff on it as music. anyone experiencing similar problems or know how to erase that other, which is stealing my precious space on my ipod??

The storage space taken up by "Other" can be made up of, notes or files of any kind you've added to the iPod whilst using it as a hard disk or album artwork.

There will always be a few MBs of used space under "other" but if it's in GBs it's unusually large.

If the iPod is enabled for disk use, you can look at the folders on the iPod through Explorer or Finder and delete anything you don't want.

Otherwise, see how to restore the iPod to factory settings which will erase the iPods contents and reclaim the used space.

Then reload the music from iTunes.

🙂 hi jeff - thanks for tip. i really managed to delete some stuff through windows explorer, but still 65 MB stayed - so i reinstall itunes, formated it again and restore it - but when ipod started with syncing warning box appeared with notice that sync not possible cause of missing file??? so only 10 songs are on and again i can't do anything - itunes no longer recognize ipod.
