PMG5 Power supply 110V and 220V capable ?

this question seems to come up quite often but i could not find a definite answer for the PM G5 models (old or new). the technical specs say 100-120V or 200-240V ... i assume that means it works with both voltages, but given the fact that the first series of iMacs had the same notation, but only worked with either voltage, depending on the location where they were bought, i wanted to get validation.

the apple technical doc for the PMs don't give clear info about whether the power supply can handle both voltages or if there are two power supply models.

any official statement / pointer to more specific documentation ?

thanks,
ph.

just for the benefit of others looking for an answer here. just got off the phone with apple .. and it is as i suspected, the power supply of the new G5s can only handle 110V OR 220V, depending on the country purchased (that's what i was told by the lady on the phone) and it is not only not auto-switch, but apparently not even manually switchable.

the same crap as with the original G5 iMacs, really disappointing .. not what i would expect from a $3000+ machine.
