Airport Utility Update 5.2.1

Running OS 10.4.10 on MacPro attached to Airport Extreme 802.11n (version 7.2.1) and also 802.11g (version 5.7). Airport utility is version 5.2 (520.16).
I'm set for weekly search for software updates (in System Preferences). Weekly I get a notice that "A newer version (5.2.1) of AirPort Utility is available" and clicking Update then launches another search for updates, when complete the message is "Your software is up to date", yet 'About Airport Utility' reports as stated above.
Yesterday my 802.11n was v7.2 so I went to the Apple Support Download site for Airport Extreme and downloaded the v7.2.1 and installed this firmware. But the accompanying? Airport Utility v5.2.1 did not also come.
Why do I get the update to 521 message and cannot accomplish it?
