How do I add a search engine?
Safari features Google and Yahoo as search engines. Is it possible to add my favourite search engine to them? If so, how?

No, it is not possible. These search engine are build in Safari executable file. However you can have your own search engines made as Bookmaklets: https://www.squarefree.com/bookmarklets/
