photos and images look cut off? Why?

When I trim the photos and images in Photoshop, (I do the aspect ration too). I import them in Garageband podcasting mode I get cut off pictures that have part of the images missing.

Why is that. I see it in the viewer in GB as well as the viewer in itunes!

Again, why is that?
