voice connect

i tried searching the archives and the apple iPhone web site - plus i looked in the iPhone manual but couldnt find anything

under settings/phone/AT&T Services there is an option for Voice Connect - does anyone know what this does?

From my understanding it's a voice dialing service that AT&T offers for $5/month. You have to dial *8 or *08 and then you can speak your contact name and it'll dial it for you. Limited usefulness since you stil have to dial something to use it. If you have a lot of contacts and haven't built your favorites list, it might be useful. Probably contact AT&T and ask about it.
