How to Stop Auto Scroll

In iTunes when the track changes it automatically scrolls to the song that has begun to play. For example, when listening to an album in the full music library, if I am editing details to a different album or just scrolling through the list, when the song I am listening to ends and goes to the next song, iTunes interrupts what I am doing and scrolls to the new song. Is there any way to prevent/disable this?
