Hi, I have the same problem. I am on Leopard (does this make a difference)?Looking at the Roland/edirol site they mention that Leopard should work fine. Can load the Um icon and set up the other icon for external device. Mouse pointer turns into a note, but no signal when going into GB. Im connecting a ROland XP-10 Synth to the Edirol.

I would suggest to bring your rig (if possible) interface and keyboard into a apple store or a music shop that has a mac set up and get them to check your interface is working correctly. Thats what I did. I feel your frustration. I know what I was like. The satisfaction of getting things going is great.

Good luck with your problem. I hope you find a solution soon.
