Trouble connecting to iTunes store.

Hi, I seem to be having difficulties trying to connect to the iTunes store. Every time I try to access it, I get an error message saying:

"iTunes could not connect to the iTunes Store. An unknown error occurred (11333). Make sure your network connection is active and try again."

Obviously my internet connection works just fine and I just came across this issue today (though I haven't accessed the iTunes store in quite a while). I tried restarting my computer but that came of no help. Will somebody help me out?

I haven't been able to connect to the iTunes store for at least a month now, getting the "itunes could not connect, check your connection and try again" message.Safari will only connect to 2 websites, firefox works perfectly, apple mail works, as does limewire, but my netbarrier, hp and system software update can't connect...I have run fsck, disk warrior, apple utility and network diagnostics (which told me connection if fine). Hope someone can help us both:)

Hey Katrina.....Thanks for your response and link...I have been to the iTunes FAQ's for Mac and they said that maybe there was a problem with Keychain, but I ran Keychain First Aid and it said there were no problems...The FAQ's also said to start a new Keychain, but I didn't do that because the first aid said no problems...Thanks again for your response 🙂

I'm having connection problems too. I was on the iTunes store site but it wouldn't let me download music because it said I needed to upgrade.

After the upgrade to 7.4.3, I haven't been able to access the iTunes store. I ran through all the troubleshooting shoots - restart, disconnecting the modem, clearing cache manually, but none of them have worked. I keep getting connection error 11333. I also ran diagnostics which said everything was fine and showed connection. Still can't access the iTunes store.

I have no problems with my internet connection, nor had any with iTunes or accessing the iTunes store prior to the upgrade.

Any help would be appreciated.

are you guys still having trouble signing in to iTunes ??...talked to an apple "genius" at a store and he said it was probably caused by limewire, which was a bad application, installing all kinds of stuff everywhere....at least for macs...so if you have that installed, you might try uninstalling it, or hopefully you are backed up and you can zero the hard drive and reinstall as I will have to do....hope this helps 🙂 good luck...
