HP Photosmart 8450

Just installed Leopard. Can't print anymore.

The computer sees the printer, tries endelessly to get the driver, but can't.

I installed the HP drivers from the Leopard install disc, no change.

If i open the HP software, I can print test sheets.

Any solutions ?

Actually, I just got the HP Photosmart 8450 to print with Leopard. Previously, when I said I could not find the driver, I meant that, when I manually tried to install the printer, while scrolling through the list of drivers, I could not find the 8450 when scrolling through the list of print drivers.

This time, however, when I connected the printer to the Mac, and started it up, the printer automatically recognized the printer and found the right driver.

Regarding the problem you're having, I wonder if it is because of your overall Leopard installation. Many of the problems others are having, I have not had possibly because I did a clean install of Leopard. (I did have some problems caused by Apple's KeyChain update, but that's another story ...)
