Truncated file and folder names

Hi,

Can someone please tell me if Leopard truncates long file/folder names in the Finder in the same way as Tiger did? By this I mean displaying the first part of the name, an ellipsis and then the last part. For example "My Pictures" would become "My P...res". The alternative is to put the ellipsis at the end, which I personally find makes things easier to decipher, but this wasn't an option in Tiger.

Thanks.

Same method applies in Leopard.
