imovie on a Dell

I have a Dell laptop with windows vista, and my friend has a macbook with imovie already installed on it. We have both been making movies lately, and I was wondering if there was an imovie software that I could install on my Dell.
Thanks and I hope to hear from you soon!

PS: Sorry I posted this on a different forum!

Imannmt,

just in case, you're intention is to 'swap' projects betwee both platforms, the best and easiest way is, to playout to tape and import again.. (from iMovie to miniDV this is a lossless process... iM projects are digital 1-1 copies of data on tape )

for sure, that process eliminates the option to 'edit' transitions, titles etc. on that other computer.. but, as all others told you: there's no Windows edit-app which could read iM-project files.. +(which surprises me.. iMovie packages are no 'voodoo'... the busy Windows shareware community never made that ...? )+
