To paraphrase an old saying, 'decent is as decent does'. Let eBay be your friend, and you will find a 16MHz 68882 chip, sooner or later, for between USD10 and USD20. The price will depend upon the competition on the day, of course. It is more probable that you will get joy out of more RAM, if you haven't already augmented the base 4MB with 2 x 4MB. Be warned that this Mac, like its close cousin the Colour Classic, has the built-in limitation that it can 'see' only 10MB of the installed 12MB, however. You can also replace the 256kB VRAM card with 512kB, and use virtual memory (judiciously).
Best of all, though, if the upgrade serpent has you in its toils, is that a Quadra 605 logic board is a drop-in fit into the LC II case, and it allows substitution of the 68LC040 cpu by a full 68040 with FPU inbuilt, 36MB of RAM and 1MB of VRAM, and OS 8.1.
