Mac Performa 200 & Space Quest III/3

I just tried to load up Sierra Online's Space Quest III/3 on my Mac Performa 200 & it failed to ever wake up Roger Wilco who is in the Escape Pod from SQ II/2. I'm running Mac OS 7.5.5 with maxed out RAM and a extension for my Asante EN/SC SCSI ethernet adaptor loaded. Why is the game malfunctioning and if there's a patch how do I get it? Could this also be compatibility related or should I run a earlier version of the Mac OS such as System 6.0.8L or Mac OS 7.1?

Well I dont know the requirements of the game but do they meet your computers specs? If so then try reinstalling the gameas this usually helps out alot. Did you install this game in customized install? If so you might have left out a needed portion of the games software so try reinstalling it. I really dont think that having a newer then nessesary OS is the problem. Does it say OS 7.1 and newer?(EXAMPLE: The game requires OS 7.1 and you have 7.5)
