Pitch bend controller data not recognized by instrument plug-ins

Am I the only one who has problems to get logics plug-ins to recognize pitch bend controller data? I have a MK-461C evolution USB controller keyboard. I see in the midi in monitor in logic that it receives the data but I don't hear any effect. How the **** do I get the plug-ins to recognize pitch band info???
I'd be grateful for any help.
