Question

Cannot add a folder for desktop images in Leopard

When clicking the + button in System Prefs...Desktop, instead of adding the folder I selected, it added a duplicate entry for Aperture Projects. Subsequent attempts to add the folder give an error stating it is already there. Nothing seems to fix this problem.

hi,

also, did you try deleting both aperture projects and then adding the folder you were trying to add?

seems like a strange thing. was this other folder a subfolder of aperture?

Evidently there is a strange bug involving Aperture, iPhoto and custom folders in Screensaver. See this thread:

Several people had success by deleting the plist files involved and the simply launching iPhoto and letting it create an iPhoto Library. After that they were able to add their own choices.

so are you saying that if you right-click the mouse (ctrl-click for single button), either (A) you get a contextual menu that pops up with a delete option that doesn't work or (B) no contextual menu pops up?
