turn off isight webcam

I have an imac in a school environment. I would like to turn off the webcam. It seems like an opportunity for trouble having the kids able to send their images out over the net.

How can I disable the camera in a way that they cannot easily restore it?

Well. Here's a suggestion.

Photo Booth uses the iSight webcam.

Delete it.

Ichat uses the webcam. Delete it.

Delete Skype if it is installed.

If you are the admin of the computer and your password is required to re-install software then keep it a secret.

Hi, why not put the Apps that use the iSight in a separate folder and lock them on your Main HD.

Open a new User account & USE Parental Controls to ALLOW only what you wish available for the students..L
