Exporting to uncompressed Quicktime Movie

I have a question. Every since i've been editing in another studio not from my home office, I've noticed that when I export to quicktime movie, the basic uncompressed video. The footage turns a bit pixelated. Its standard def. not HD. But when watching the footage in FCP on the timeline, its full quality and not pixelated at all. Any idea? Do you think it could be becuase the studio has an older version of quicktime? (though its only like .0.2 versions older then the one out now.)
