640 by 480 videos won't play on my iPod.

640 by 480 videos won't play on my iPod. They play okay on iTunes but when I put them on my iPod it says "The movies are damaged and cannot be played". Any ideas what could be wrong? Thanks.

is it just movies of that size or is it all the movies you have? It could just be that there was somthing that went wrong with syncing

No, they are different lengths. One is 15 seconds long another is over a minute long and another is over 20 minutes long.

Sorry i wasn't clear,

I meant is it all videos of that Size FORMAT 640 by 480, or are all your videos not working? do you have any that do work?

You can always try a system restore through iTunes or just a reset through the iPod

I have one 640 by 480 video podcast (with h.264 codec) and that works but my other 640 by 480 videos(with mpeg4 codec) doesn't work.

Edit: Okay now it is really messed up. I put a 320 by 240 video on the iPod and it played but it was all grey and red. Then I played the podcast that was working and now it is all disorted. It is showing different colours.

You might try downloading a few of the free videos from itunes. On the main itunes page there's a free section. See if you can play a few of those videos. Also, try and download a few of the most popular video podcasts. Make sure you download the ipod versions and not the HD versions.
